Browser Settings - Internet Explorer
Settings for Internet Explorer can be accessed on the menu bar by clicking Tools and then clicking Internet Options. You will be presented with a dialog box with 6 tabs. Here is what you will find with each one:
General - You can select which web site is your home page, access and change settings of your temporary (cache) files and history, as well as colors and fonts. If you don't like the fonts or colors I use you can change them to what you like!
Security- Allows you to customize security levels for the different types of zones on the internet.
Content- Here you can restrict the type of content that is received on your computer, and access rating systems.
Connections- This sets how your computer connects to the net. I wouldn't play with this unless you are having problems.
Programs- Here is where you can determine which programs, such as e-mail or address book, the browser will automatically go to.
Advanced- Lots of thing to change here, some you may understand, but quite a few that are truly advanced stuff. Fortunately, there is an easy return to default (your original) settings.
